The design for this scarf was inspired by some yarn that my friend Moira gifted me with. It is a blend of her own angora and some commercial merino that she had spun up and then hand-dyed. I have some in a soft grey, and also some mint green to play with, lucky me! This blue I used to made a scarf for her as a thank-you for the yarn.
This yarn wants to be petted and stroked and smooshed against your cheek, and I wanted the scarf to convey all that softness in its design. If you happen to make this scarf, please send me a picture; I’d love to see it!

It’s very nice & it’s just what I was looking for! I want to make a dear friend of mine a scarf for Christmas in baby pink & I think this is ‘the’ pattern!
I’m so glad it fits the bill for your friend! Thanks for the kind comments.
Nice pattern! I downloaded it and put it on my hope-to-do list.
It’s a lovely scarf. Congratulations on your new blog!
Hi,
Your scarf and work are beautiful! Just the right item for my snowboarding daughter. I have tried several times to locate the pattern…in fact, I have spent over 45 minutes trying to locate it and just can’t seem to get where ever the link is to take me.
I apologize for any inconvenience but is there some way that I could get some assistance from you?
Thank you and have a great Thanksgiving.
Blessed Be,
Ann
Thanks for the pattern. This looks like a fun scarf to make. I’ll put it in my queue.
Ann, I’ve emailed you a copy. No idea why the link doesn’t work for you. Hope your daughter likes the scarf!
