I'm knitting these socks at the moment and loving them, but I can't figure out turning the heel at all - it keeps coming out crooked. A few people on Ravelry who've knitted them have commented that there's a typo in the heel instructions, but frustratingly none of them said what it was or what they did to fix it, just said that it was easy to sort out :-D. I'm fairly new to sock-knitting so it's not obvious to me - any chance you could check the pattern please? Thanks! Hello :-) . Next time I'm doing this bind-off I'll try to remember to get Frank to take some pictures and I'll do a write-up myself. They fit me quite comfortably, and my ankle is 9.5" in diameter. The widest part of my calf is 14" (the socks don't go up quite that far, though, but it should give you an idea).
