One For the Guys
This sock has fairly subdued patterning and I think a lot of men would be ok with it. My own man prefers his socks plain and dim, er, dark. This pattern is a more interesting knit than endless stockinette.
It’s free, and you can download the PDF here.
Please let me know if there are any problems with the pattern, or if you like it, or hate it, or whatever! I get thousands of visitors to my blog every month, but only a couple of comments ever, and we bloggers do like our comments, you know.

LOVE these socks! Found you through Ravelry! Thanks so much for sharing!
And I know what you mean about comments on blogs! People come and look, but seldom take the time to comment……..

Glad you like them, Joan! Now I’m going to go visit *your* blog.
I like this pattern! And it is written out very clearly. Thank you.
Thanks for your kind words, Cindy!
I love this pattern! Have downloaded it already and this will be the next pair of socks for my husband. I’ve got the perfect yarn in my stash already.
Many thanks for making it a free pattern.
Best wishes
Sue
You’re welcome, Sue.
Thanks for the sock pattern – it’s lovely.
These look great! I am casting on for these this week with the yarn I bought to make socks for my husband’s birthday. Yes, that was almost 2 months ago. Here’s hoping I knit faster! Thanks for an awesome pattern!
You’re welcome, Jessie. I’m sure your husband will think that hand-knit socks are worth the wait.
